The Jericho Prayer Movement, coordinated by Pastor Derwin Brown, is a citywide initiative uniting believers to restore spiritual covering over our communities. At the heart of this movement are our Neighborhood Altars—local gathering points where residents come together to pray, worship, and intercede for healing, peace, and transformation in their own neighborhoods.
These altars are more than symbolic—they are living centers of faith and connection. Each one represents a commitment to reclaim our streets for God’s purpose, strengthen community bonds, and invite His presence into every home, school, and block.
Our Mission
Creating a canopy of worship and prayer over our homes, neighborhood, the communities, city overflowing to the nations by establishing altars across the DMV.
Our Focus
-
Prayer & Intercession: Standing in unity for families, schools, and city leaders.
-
Community Presence: Establishing consistent prayer gatherings in every neighborhood.
-
Transformation: Encouraging spiritual renewal and practical outreach.
You’re invited to join the movement—build an altar, lead your block, and help us pray the walls down.
