Through Scripture, believers are reminded that: The blood of Jesus provides redemption and protection. God’s grace remains available even in challenging times. Pastor’s Prayer Call - July 31, 2026 Stay Alert: “The Days Are Evil” — Shifting Into War Zone Gear On Friday, July 31, 2026, pastors and ministry leaders gathered for the International Christian Host Coalition (ICHC) Friday Pastors Prayer Call for a time of prayer, biblical teaching, and spiritual encouragement focused on the theme, “Stay Alert: The Days Are Evil” from Ephesians 5:16. The gathering challenged believers to recognize the spiritual realities of the times and understand the importance of remaining spiritually prepared. Through the focus, “Shift Into War Zone Gear: Why? How? Who?”, participants were encouraged to embrace their God-given responsibility to remain alert, prayerful, and equipped for spiritual battle. The message began with the understanding that Jesus was fully aware of the spiritual conflict taking place in the world. From the fall of Lucifer and the deception of humanity in the Garden of Eden to the continued influence of darkness throughout history, Scripture reveals that believers are engaged in an ongoing spiritual battle. However, the message emphasized that believers are not called to live in fear. Instead, the Church is called to stand confidently in the authority, power, and protection provided through Jesus Christ. The discussion explored three important questions: Why? Believers must understand the reality of spiritual warfare. Jesus knew the world would face opposition, deception, and challenges, and He prepared His followers to remain faithful and watchful. How? Victory comes through dependence on God. Believers are called to seek the Lord through fervent prayer, invite Him into every battle, and trust His strength rather than relying on human ability. The Holy Spirit provides the fresh anointing needed to stand firm and fight the good fight of faith. Participants were encouraged to follow the example of Jehoshaphat, who turned to God during a time of uncertainty and declared: "We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on You." — 2 Chronicles 20:12 The call was also given to put on the full armor of God described in Ephesians 6:10–17, recognizing that prayer, faith, truth, righteousness, and the Word of God are essential weapons for every believer. Who? The call to spiritual readiness belongs to every believer. The Church is called to move beyond passivity and embrace the assignment God has given—to stand, pray, serve, and intercede for families, communities, nations, and the world. The prayer call highlighted that one of the greatest dangers facing believers is spiritual passivity. Leaders were encouraged to awaken the God-given spiritual strength within them and remain committed to prayer, obedience, and alignment with the Holy Spirit. The gathering concluded with a powerful prayer of surrender and renewed commitment: "Father, thank You for awakening a Godly spiritual fight within us—one that is submitted to Christ and unleashed against the enemy. We receive a fresh anointing to fight the good fight of faith and remain aligned with Your battle plan."
