The Forge Gathering — an initiative of the International Christian Host Coalition (ICHC) — continues to grow as a sacred space where men of all ages come together to strengthen one another through prayer, reflection, and honest conversation.

From the moment participants entered Pastor Thompson’s church, they were welcomed into a circle — not rows — symbolizing equality, brotherhood, and shared accountability. The session began with heartfelt introductions and deep reflection on personal experiences of manhood, friendship, and faith.

Men explored questions that opened their hearts: What does manhood mean to you? What do you wish your father had said? Who do you turn to when life feels heavy? Each answer was received with compassion and respect — a living example of iron sharpening iron.

An 8-year-old boy’s innocence met the wisdom of a 66-year-old elder, all under the guidance of Pastor Thompson’s steady leadership. His message was powerful:

“A forge is a place of heat and pressure — not to destroy, but to shape. And God uses both to make us stronger, more useful, and more beautiful.”

Through worship, testimony, and heartfelt prayer, the Holy Spirit moved freely. The morning ended with men embracing, laughing, and committing to carry this spirit of mentorship back to their families, churches, and communities.

Dr. Corinthia Ridgley Boone, ICHC Founder, and the Steering Team expressed deep gratitude for Pastor Thompson’s leadership and the faithfulness of all who participated. As men continue to testify and invite others, the Forge circle will grow even wider — shaping generations of worshippers, leaders, and mentors.
