The ICHC Pastors Prayer Call gathered early morning voices of faith across ministries and generations under the theme “True Revival – The Only Answer (Desperation).” Dr. Corinthia Ridgley Boone, Founder of ICHC, reminded participants that revival is not an event but “God’s work within a life” — a renewal that begins in the heart and radiates outward in love and obedience.

The prayer focus centered on:

• A Generation Desiring True Revival — that hearts would awaken to God’s grace and purpose.

• The Father’s Heart to Sons (Malachi 4:6) — calling men to engage, listen, and show genuine care.

• Revival as Transformation — breaking free from cultural conformity and walking in spiritual renewal.

Leaders prayed fervently for a move of God among the Now Generation (Gen Z) — many of whom face the crisis of fatherlessness. This moment of intercession led directly into the upcoming Forge Gathering: Mentored by Men, Molded by God, held Saturday, September 27 at Bethesda Baptist Church, coordinated by Pastor Michael Thompson.

The gathering aimed to connect mature and younger men in honest dialogue, offering biblical wisdom for navigating today’s cultural challenges (Jeremiah 31:13b). Participants were encouraged to bring someone along — a family member, neighbor, or young man in need of guidance and community.

The call concluded with a reminder from Philippians 2:15:

“Shine as lights in a dark world, that all might come to know and love the Lord Jesus Christ.”

Through these gatherings, ICHC continues its corporate assignment — uniting fathers and sons, pastors and youth, in one voice of prayer, mentorship, and faith.
