International Christian Host Coalition (ICHC) and Capital City National Day of Prayer (CCNDP) Announcement of Elevation Dr. Corinthia Ridgley Boone Moving Forward to the Next Tier  Succession

Grace and Peace to You in Christ.

After four decades of Dr. Boones’ leadership, the International Christian Host

Coalition (ICHC) Board of Directors and Capital City National Day of Prayer (CCNDP) Steering Team write to announce a transition in leadership for the Capital City National Day of Prayer (CCNDP). Effective September 19, 2025, Dr. Boone will be stepping down from her role as Chairperson of CCNDP.

 ### New Leadership

We are pleased to announce Chaplain Sheila Griffin as her successor, to assume the role of Chairperson of CCNDP. We turn it over to her to build upon the strong foundation that God has graciously enabled us to establish over the past forty years.

### Reason for Transition

*Dr. Boone has a growing desire to devote more time to writing, spiritual mentorship, and her other Kingdom assignments; International Christian Host Coalition (ICHC), Together In Ministry International (T.I.M.) and Youth Voice Connect Global (YVC).

* Although she is stepping aside from the CCNDP Chairperson’s responsibilities, her other ministries will continue under her leadership.

* This transition is made in full affirmation of her Board of Directors and the ICHC Steering Team.

 ### Honorary Emeritus Position

In recognition of her role in birthing, executing, and sustaining the CCNDP vision for forty years, the ICHC Board of Directors and CCNDP Steering Team have recommended that Dr. Corinthia Ridgley Boone be granted the title:

                                                                                        Honorary Chair Emeritus.

### Personal Reflections and Commitment

With a deep sense of awe, peace, and joy, Dr. Boone looks back on what has been accomplished and gaze ahead toward all God has yet to do. We are confident in God alone—He is leading, empowering, and directing this transition.

You do not birth and then discard. The CCNDP Task Force, the National Prayer Committee, and all persons who have served in prayer and faith remain forever in her heart.

Thank you for your love, labor, faithfulness, and for every moment in which you have stood together with her in prayer and purpose as chairperson of CCNDP.

As we gaze ahead to all God will yet do through her, we decree; “the glory of your latter house will be greater than the former and, in this place, you will have peace” (Haggai 2:9)

May you continue to move forward united, encouraging Chaplain Sheila Griffin as she carries forward the mission with energy, vision, and faith.

Yours in Christ,

ICHC Board of Directors and CCNDP Steering Team,

Dr. Dale Wafer; ICHC Communications Director
