Dear Colleagues and Friends,

Reply from National Day Of Prayer Task Force (NDPTF) and The National Day Of Prayer Committee (NDPC) to the ICHC Executive Committee:

                 In reference to the Board's request in agreement with Dr. Boone's desire to be released as Chairman of Capital City National Day of Prayer (CCNDP). Her recommendation, in agreement with her board, Sheila Griffin be appointed as the new chairperson.

 Reply to CCNDP Executive Committee:

Seeking the Lord honoring Dr. Boone and releasing her to all that God is calling her to do in this season of her life. She is indeed a great and godly servant and leader who forever touched our hearts with many treasured memories.

We have prayed and God has given us a unified decision to name Dr. Boone our first, National Day of Prayer Task Force "Legacy Leader." This new recognition will be bestowed upon leaders who have served with extraordinary leadership and sacrifice for 30 years or more and have demonstrated mentorship to bring along younger leaders leaving a long legacy of mobilizing unified public prayer for America that launches and lifts generations of prayers and pray-ers. Dr. Boone will be the first to receive this recognition and will be invited and remembered at the Summit Leadership Luncheons every year.

In addition, we have established a Legacy Leader Summit Scholarship in honor of the Legacy Leaders. Each year the first coordinator under the age of 35 to register will be notified that they are receiving the Legacy Leader Scholarship and will not be required to pay for their Summit registration. We are grateful for Dr. Boone's heart for the generations, and we know this will delight her heart.
