Jericho Prayer Movement: Snapshots of FaithfulnessSaturday, September 6, 2025 | Focus: God’s Plans and Unity Through Prayer

The Jericho Prayer Movement (JPM) continues to serve as a powerful interdenominational and intercultural connection — a bridge of unity in Jesus Christ, releasing the power and light of God through worship, prayer, and the Word.

This month’s gathering centered on Jeremiah 29:11 — “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Participants were also encouraged by 1 Peter 1:15, reminding all to walk in holiness as God is holy.

Across multiple altars — from Capitol Hill to Clinton, Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Murfreesboro, Tennessee — believers lifted up heartfelt prayers:

For unity and righteousness in government leadership.

For truth and fairness in the media.

For protection and spiritual strength among the next generation.

For prosperity and divine purpose to be fulfilled in churches, ministries, and communities.

Each location experienced God’s presence through songs of worship including “Holy, Holy, Holy”, “Indescribable”, and “Nothing But the Blood of Jesus.” Despite varying group sizes, each altar reported powerful prayer, renewed faith, and a deep sense of the Holy Spirit’s movement.

The Jericho Prayer Movement Core Team, led by Pastor Sharon Lee (Director), Dr. Corinthia Ridgley Boone (Advisor), and Pastor Dervin Brown (Coordinator), continues to call believers to unity, perseverance, and prayer.

As we move forward, JPM stands as a living testimony of God’s promise — that His plans are good, His purpose is eternal, and His people are called to be holy, be united, and be faithful.
