Spiritual Reality Behind Halloween: Witchcraft (Visible) — A Call to Christian Responsibility

In a time when the culture glamorizes darkness, the International Christian Host Coalition (ICHC) urges believers to stand firm in truth and light. During the recent Pastors Friday Prayer Call on October 17th (6:30 a.m. – 7:30 a.m.), Dr. Adebo Tomomewo led a powerful session titled “Moving Forward: Renewed in Mind.”

The focus: understanding the spiritual reality behind Halloween and the believer’s responsibility to “shake salt, neutralize, and refuse participation in evil,” while reflecting God’s love to others. Dr. Tomomewo’s expository teaching reminded us that the Holy Spirit is the answer to every operation of witchcraft — renewing our minds, empowering our walk, and anchoring our victory.

Grounded in scriptures such as Galatians 3:1–5, Psalms 91:1–2, and 1 John 2:27, the message emphasized cultivating a daily relationship with the Holy Spirit — acknowledging His presence, seeking His wisdom, and remaining hungry for God.

The gathering, described as a “refueling station” by ICHC Founder Dr. Corinthia Ridgley Boone, brought pastors and ministry leaders into deep worship and unity. Together, they reaffirmed their commitment to God’s Movement over cultural trends, interceding for neighborhoods and fatherless youth through altars of prayer and worship.
