Reflections from the ICHC Pastors Friday Prayer Call
January 7, 2026
The International Christian Host Coalition (ICHC) convened pastors and ministry leaders for a powerful Pastors Friday Prayer Call: Refueling Station on January 7, 2026. Held in partnership with Together in Ministries International (T.I.M.), the gathering was both enlightening and strengthening—designed to refuel leaders for the work ahead and to anchor 2026 in prayer.
The central focus was clear: Altar Builders 2026—men and women committed to setting the spiritual atmosphere and releasing the fragrance of Jesus into neighborhoods, families, and communities.
Setting the Atmosphere: The Fragrance of Christ
We were reminded that spiritual atmospheres are shaped from the inside out. Drawing from Scripture, several foundational truths guided our time together:
Jesus is the Vine; we are the branches—our strength flows from remaining in Him (John 15:5)
Christ in us is the hope of glory, empowering us to rule internally rather than be ruled by external circumstances (Colossians 1:27)
The Blood of Jesus is a powerful spiritual weapon that shifts atmospheres and establishes authority
We are no longer victims of our environments; we are carriers of Christ’s presence
As altar builders, we bring the authority of Jesus to every place we stand
From the Vine flows power, identity, and authority. As branches, we are called to rule from that union—setting atmospheres rather than reacting to them.
Strengthened Together in Ministry
Insights were shared from the First Wednesdays T.I.M. Gathering, reinforcing the call to build prayer altars not only in churches, but in neighborhoods. This foundation is critical as we move forward into 2026—establishing hope, direction, and presence for all, with special attention to the Fatherless Initiative.
The call was both pastoral and practical: show up, remain rooted, and carry the presence of Christ wherever God places you.
Looking Ahead: Save the Dates
Two upcoming opportunities were highlighted as part of ICHC’s continued work with men and the fatherless:

The Good News
This is the Church’s finest hour.
As believers, we are the light that shines in the darkness—and the darkness cannot overcome it (John 1:5). As altar builders, we carry hope, peace, and the presence of Jesus into every space we enter.
Let us remain refueled, rooted, and ready.
