Reset as a Nation

Hosted by the International Christian Host Coalition (ICHC)

The Pastors Prayer Call will take place on Friday, May 22, 2026, bringing pastors, leaders, and believers together for a focused time of continual prayer centered on one urgent theme: Reset as a Nation.

This gathering is a call to reflection, repentance, and spiritual alignment—seeking God for national renewal and a return to His purpose for the land.

A Nation at a Turning Point

As the nation approaches its 250th year, this prayer call reflects on God’s enduring goodness and mercy. It is a reminder that the Gospel is still being called forth—to the ends of the earth—and that God’s desire is for a world that reflects Christ.

The call to “reset” is understood as a spiritual invitation from the Holy Spirit: a return to God’s design, His order, and His presence.

Why Worship Matters

Scripture emphasizes that God seeks worshippers who worship in spirit and in truth (John 4:23). Worship is not only expression—it is alignment.

This prayer call emphasizes that human strength alone is insufficient against spiritual challenges. Instead, believers are called to rely fully on God, recognizing that true victory is spiritual in nature.

A Model of Spiritual Strategy

Drawing from 2 Chronicles 20:15–22, this message highlights a powerful principle:When worship leads the way, God moves in the battle.

As worshippers went before the army, God brought confusion to opposing forces. The moment worship began, victory followed—not by human strength, but by divine intervention.

This serves as a reminder that spiritual alignment precedes breakthrough.

Return to God’s Way

The call is simple: invite God into the battle. Let worship lead. Let faith govern action.

Worship is also described as an invitation to the fullness of God’s Spirit—wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, knowledge, and reverence for the Lord (Isaiah 11:1–2).

This reflects a deeper spiritual truth: that complete surrender invites complete divine covering.

The Power of Christ’s Finished Work

The message also reflects on the authority of Jesus and the fullness of His redemptive work, pointing to the completeness of His power and victory.

Through Him, believers are reminded that spiritual authority is rooted in Christ alone, and that God’s purposes are ultimately fulfilled through His sovereign hand.

A Call to the Church

This is a moment of reflection and responsibility for the Church: to return, to worship, and to stand in alignment with God’s purpose for the nation.

As we move forward, the question remains:Will we be the people who reset and return?
