Reflections from the ICHC Pastors Friday Conference Call

On Friday morning, January 23, 2026, pastors and faith leaders gathered on the ICHC Pastors Conference Call with one clear focus: addressing the fatherless crisis in our nation and mobilizing men to step into redemptive, life-shaping roles for the next generation.

This conversation built directly on two powerful gatherings:

Men’s Preparation – Mentor the Fatherless (January 17, 2026)

Now Gen Mentored by Men – Molded by God (January 24, 2026)

Together, these moments signaled a decisive call to restart history—one life, one young person, one faithful act at a time.

The Crisis We Cannot Ignore

The absence of fathers remains one of the strongest drivers of poverty and behavioral disorders in our nation. During the call, sobering realities were lifted into the light:

63% of youth suicides occur in fatherless homes

71% of high school dropouts come from fatherless homes

85% of incarcerated youth grew up without a father

These statistics are not just numbers—they represent lives waiting for presence, guidance, and hope.

Restart the History the World Desperately Needs

ICHC believes the answer is both spiritual and practical. The call is simple, yet transformative:

Be a surrogate father to a young person.

This may look like standing by, standing in, or serving as a substitute—offering consistency, affirmation, and godly example. Every role matters. Every act of faithfulness counts.

The ICHC Fatherless Initiative: God’s Mission of Redemption

At the heart of this work is the ICHC Fatherless Initiative, grounded in the truth of Romans 8:15, “the Spirit of adoption.” This initiative seeks to break generational cycles through spiritual formation, legal awareness, and relational investment.

Dr. Andre Randall reported from the January 17 Men’s Preparation Gathering, describing a dynamic and forward-moving experience where men received:

Knowledge and instruction

Affirmation of identity

Tools to navigate their own walk with Christ

Clarity on how to become a benefit to the fatherless generation
