A Glorious Celebration of Thanksgiving: Honoring 25 Years of the Jericho Prayer Movement - September 7, 2026
International Christian Host Coalition (ICHC)
Twenty-five years. Three hundred months. Countless prayers offered for people and communities across the D.C. area and beyond.
As the Jericho Prayer Movement (JPM) closes its prayer mission, the International Christian Host Coalition (ICHC) pauses with gratitude for the people who sustained it. JPM’s 25th anniversary celebration on September 5 honored a long legacy of faithful service and recognized Pastor Sharon Lee’s 10 years of leadership as director.
The gathering also held a surprise for Dr. Corinthia Ridgley Boone. The JPM family presented her with a plaque honoring her as a Founding Advisor. Its message thanked her for her presence since day one and described her years of counsel and prayer as a cornerstone of the movement’s quarter-century legacy.
Dr. Boone received the recognition with gratitude, giving glory to God and celebrating everyone who contributed to JPM’s work. The anniversary was an opportunity to remember those who prayed and served throughout the years, including members of the movement whose influence continues through the people they encouraged.
Recording this history matters. As Psalm 145:4 reminds us, one generation can share God’s works with the next. JPM’s story offers future generations an example of steadfast prayer, shared service, and commitment carried over time.
To Pastor Lee, Dr. Boone, and every person who has been part of these 300 months of prayer: thank you. May the legacy you built continue to inspire others.
To God be all the glory.
