Let Every Generation Know: Sharing a Legacy of Faith - September 11, 2026
International Christian Host Coalition (ICHC) | Pastor’s Prayer Call
Every generation carries stories that the next needs to hear. At its September 11 Fueling Station, the International Christian Host Coalition (ICHC) focused on a call to share God’s works openly so that young people can grow in faith and carry it forward.
“One generation shall commend your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts” (Psalm 145:4). That verse invites us to do more than remember privately. It asks us to tell others about the ways God has guided, sustained, and changed our lives.
The prayer call also reflected the hope expressed in Psalm 71:18: to continue declaring God’s power to generations still to come. Parents, pastors, mentors, and neighbors all have opportunities to do this. We can share personal testimonies, pray with young people, answer their questions, and show through our actions what trust in God looks like.
ICHC prayed that succeeding generations would come to know, love, worship, and follow God. The prayer also asked that young people understand the power and protection of Jesus’ blood as they grow in faith.
Passing on faith takes continued attention. It happens through the stories we choose to tell and the time we spend with those coming after us. May we be faithful in sharing what God has done, so that the next generation can tell its own stories of His work.
Come expectant, and keep the prayer wheel turning.
