Let Us Rise Up and Build: A Call to Work Together - September 4, 2026

International Christian Host Coalition (ICHC) | Pastors Prayer Call

When Nehemiah saw that Jerusalem’s wall was down, he surveyed the damage before calling others to help rebuild. The people answered, “Let us rise up and build,” and set their hands to the work (Nehemiah 2:18).

That call shaped the International Christian Host Coalition’s September 4 Pastors Prayer Call. Reflecting on the September 2 Together In Ministry gathering and a message from Bishop Bobby Holmes, ICHC focused on a simple idea: team together, everyone achieves more.

The work of rebuilding begins by seeing what needs care. For ICHC, that means looking honestly at the needs around us and asking where we can serve. Each person has a place in the effort. Church leaders can bring people together, families can strengthen one another, and neighbors can take practical steps to support their communities.

Nehemiah did not rebuild the wall alone. He invited others into a shared purpose, and they committed themselves to the task. His example reminds us that prayer can prepare us for action—and that steady, collective work can make restoration possible.

ICHC invites pastors, spiritual leaders, and community members to continue praying and to find their place in this good work. Let us rise up and build together.

So let it be, Lord Jesus. Amen!
