Pastor’s Prayer Call – May 29, 2026
Return to Our First Love – A Reset for the Church
Hosted by the International Christian Host Coalition (ICHC)
The Pastor Prayer Call convenes on Friday, May 29, 2026, from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM, calling pastors, leaders, and believers into a focused hour of continual prayer, repentance, and spiritual realignment.
This gathering centers on a powerful theme: Return to Our First Love — Reset.A call for the Church to refocus on worship, prayer, and wholehearted devotion to Christ.
At the heart of this prayer call is a simple but urgent premise: when the Church returns to God in obedience, repentance, and alignment, the nation is impacted and blessed.
Returning to What Matters Most
The message is clear: the Church is called to both worship and work—but worship must remain the foundation. When work flows out of worship, it is rooted in love rather than obligation.
Scripture reminds believers of this priority in Revelation 2:4–5:A call to remember, repent, and return to first love in Christ.
This moment is an invitation to examine both heart and practice:Are we aligned with intimacy with Christ, or have we drifted into activity without connection?
A Call for Reset and Alignment
The journey toward renewal requires humility and repentance. Scripture teaches that healing begins when God’s people humble themselves, pray, and turn from unholy ways (2 Chronicles 7:14).
The emphasis is not only personal but collective—a reset for the Church and, through it, the nation.
Believers are also encouraged to seek a fresh outpouring of grace and supplication (Zechariah 12:10), trusting that spiritual renewal begins with surrender.
The Responsibility of the Church
This prayer call underscores a central truth:Spiritual transformation begins with the Church—not systems, not politics, not programs.
Worship, prayer, and the Gospel remain inseparable tools God uses to bring healing and restoration. The responsibility rests on believers to seek God faithfully and consistently.
National healing is ultimately God’s sovereign work—but it is released through a repentant, praying, and aligned people.
A Final Challenge
The question remains:Will the Church be that people?
This is a moment of reflection, repentance, and renewed commitment to return to first love and move forward in unity and purpose.
