Rise Up and Rebuild: An Invitation to Join the Work - September 28, 2026

When Nehemiah saw a wall in need of repair, he called people together to rebuild it. Their response was direct: “Let us rise up and build” (Nehemiah 2:18).

That invitation is at the heart of a three-part series from the Collaboration of Ministries, of which the International Christian Host Coalition (ICHC) is a part. The series calls churches and leaders to adopt a Nehemiah mindset: recognize what needs rebuilding, understand the value of working together, and choose a place to serve.

The series is designed to be read in order, with each part adding to the message:

• Part I — Nehemiah: Ideal Team explores the people and shared purpose behind the work.

• Part II — The Wall Was Down considers why the need for rebuilding must first be recognized.

• Part III — Choose to Be a Part: Rebuilding the Wall invites readers to take an active role.

The call is for each person to consider their own place in the work. What can you help strengthen in your church, ministry, or community? Who can you work alongside? The Collaboration of Ministries invites you to read the full series, reflect on those questions, and share your response.
